Psalm 119v11 “ I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”
David says something pertinent. He has hidden God’s word in his heart, to avoid falling in sin.
I wish to tell you this morning that the devil has so many plans against you, and he is wicked. His role is to make you fall in sin. He is very patient and can keep on destroying you in five years so that at the fifth year, you fall into sin and your life is completely destroyed. For this difficult situation, the perfect means that the psalmist saw, was to hide God’s word in his heart. So that if ever temptation comes in, what he kept in his heart with the help of the Holy Spirit will make him keep firm. Somebody who lacks this word of God in his heart, the first wind or temptation, pr difficulty that will come will make him fall down completely.
I wish to add something. For this word to come into your heart until it is firmly hidden, you have to read it, and read it again,LET IT BECOME A SECOND NATURE TO YOU.
Prayer: Lord, give me thirst of your Word, so that I should read it endlessly, until it becomes so deeply hidden in my heart that with Your help, I may overcome any temptation. AMEN.
Your Sister, Eden Ebo.
