John1v12 “ Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become Children of God.”
Here the Lord wants to reveal to us, who are the Children of God and how they come about. Children of God are those who received him, this means, those who accepted the fact that JESUS is their Lord and Saviour, those who believed in His Word, believing in His Says and dids, They are the one referred to as Children of God.
Becoming Child of God is not hereditary, you are not His child because your parents are, or just because you go to church you are not just His natural descendants, neither it is just a human decision. It is not obtained through the covenant of your patner. His salvation works for Him because you are different. Children of God, are born from GOD.
Prayer: Lord, I’ve been your creature before, but today I wish to surrender my wrong ways to become your Child. I believe in your name, and accept you as LORD and SAVIOUR, Please Holy Spirit, start walking with me as a Friend. AMEN
