Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness,

Galatians 5:23 Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].

Yesterday we spoke about who is the Holy Spirit and we said that it’s impossible to live like Christ if He is absent . This passage just confirms.

Most of us are fighting with our character . Many people have anger Issues, addiction , pride etc . This passage gives us hope that we can change and be better .

The fruit of the Spirit as explained here regroups all the ingredients needed for some someone to be seen at the sight of God and men as having a good character . We’ll  like to be a person that possesses all the attributes sighted in the passage above .

It’s very possible to be that person if and only if you allow Him to work in you . This is what His presence in one’s life produces.

All these values are indicators to know whether someone has the Spirit of God or not .

The fruit of the spirit makes our lives radiate like light and have a fragrance .

On our own, we can’t achieve these goals that’s why we need Him each and everyday.

There’re many examples of character transformation in the Bible  and even here in our day to day life . People that were violent , liars, insolent etc that have completely change because of Jesus .

Today, we want to encourage you to let the Holy Spirit work in you , the fruits shall be evident .

Prayer

Lord please help me to obey and be submissive to the Holy Spirit . Amen

Your servant ,

Shekina.
