Today’s theme: God looking for people clothed in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Verses of the day: Numbers 11:1-6 , 10-20, 24-29
-The life and ministry of Moses show how much the people need to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.
– God’s teaching encourages Christians and leaders at all levels to seek the presence of God’s Spirit
– The Church greatly needs believers to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.
Those who seek God’s Spirit will experience extraordinary hope with Him.
– God’s mission cannot be accomplished by our own strength alone ( Numbers 10:33 , 11:1-15). The real solution to fulfilling God’s mission is prayer, for in prayer we pour ourselves out before God to show our inability. The Holy Spirit is the catalyst of God’s glory, bringing God’s love and power into our various spheres of influence.
It is important to recognize one’s limitations, because those who recognize them are seeking God.
– Difficult circumstances will come (Numbers 11:1-9)
We need to see every difficult circumstance as an opportunity to get to know God better
