1 John 1 v 1 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all that is not right in us. 

God is not a wicked judge whose plan is to trap you when you sin and immediately judge you. His will is that you repent from your sin and turn back to Him. Some People find it so difficult to come to His feet and bow, to worship and confess sins. It is Capital for a Christian to do that. 

Here, confessing sin is just a way of accepting that you really went wrong, saying that you take the decision to change and follow the LORD sincerely! 

The devil wants our hearts to become so hard and filled with pride that we are unable to accept when we go wrong and ask for forgiveness. This is a great error because doing that is getting ready for hell. 

Humility is a virtue that is disappearing from Christians. Nobody wants to follow the other, nobody accepts that he or she is wrong, and Nobody to repent. It is very easy, but when you reach that level, most of the time it will become worse. How will the Lord use you then?  How will you work for Him? 

I am calling on you today, not to let your heart be swallowed up by pride. 

Prayer :

Heavenly Father, I recognize always being proud and hiding from Your face when I am wrong, I know I frequently turn my back to You and try to forget. Give me a humble and faithful heart.
