Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the Rock and firm Strength of my heart and my Portion forever.
Sometimes we feel like our greatest enemy is the devil. But before everyone else, your flesh (yourself) is your greatest enemy. Most of our downfalls are due to ourselves because, by our personal deeds, we invited the devil into our lives for he cannot act upon us when he finds nothing of him in us. Let us, therefore, acknowledge that we are weak and that we constantly need to grieve the flesh. Let us repent and pray that God delivers us from ourselves. Selah!
