1 Corinthians 8:9 Only be careful that this power of choice (this permission and liberty to do as you please) which is yours, does not [somehow] become a hindrance (cause of stumbling) to the weak or over-scrupulous [giving them an impulse to sin].
Everything is permitted but not everything is useful. So in life, what may work for you as a believer may not walk for your brethren therefore do not try to take the place of the Holy Spirit in people’s lives. Try as much as possible to be irreproachable so as to avoid people blaming their misconduct on you. Lead people to Christ so He teaches them what is fine for them and what isn’t. If you want to do this by yourself, you will be a bad shepherd.Â
