Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?
One thing about God that should be known to everyone is His faithfulness followed by His love. Most often when God speaks the word immediately comes to pass. Let me explain; God is He who says a thing and before He finishes saying it is already done. Now, the next step is for us to mature so as to be able to carry the blessing carefully. For we need to be tested, built, and shaped to harbor God’s Spirit. This is the thing that takes time. The Lord is merciful and gracious but He cannot give you something your maturity cannot carry. So brethren, take heart while the Lord teaches you His ways so that He can accord you His eternal blessings.Â
