Galatians 5:26 Let us not become vainglorious and self-conceited, competitive and challenging and provoking and irritating to one another, envying and being jealous of one another.
Nowadays we see church leaders fighting each other and consequently making church members enemies. The goal in a congregation should be the salvation of souls and not who makes the greatest number of people in the assembly. Such battles weaken the faith of many and bring in more confusion letting the devil in. As leaders, we should always have in mind that on this earth, all is indeed vanity and vexation of spirit and our only ambition or goal should be putting a smile on the Lord’s face. The kingdom has to be the only objective for the Bible says that all that we do must be done for the glory of our God. Let us not be lukewarm and give no opportunity to the enemy for he will not hesitate to destroy us. Whenever you see church leaders arguing over something, go on a retreat and intercede for them and the other church members. There is no time to argue over irrelevant issues.Â
