1st king 19v10 . He replied “ I have been very zealous for the lord God all mighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left and now they are trying to kill me too.”
We’re going to lay special emphasis on the title “A PASSIONED CHRISTRIAN”. You can be a child of God for years, and be very faithful to your engagement in church, but as long as you are not passionate to serve a person, your efficiency will never be far from the minimum.
You can work in the biggest enterprise ever, but as long as you lack passion, you wouldn’t excel. Passion is the flame that pushes us to continue an activity, with a higher zeal every day, without ever being bored. It is the oil that keeps your lamp shining. One of the Flaws that children of God have, is that they are not passionate to serve their God. The love and the zeal have faded away.
When you are passionate about someone, you stay faithful to them no matter what happens. Passion is the engine, that helped Elijah to keep on waiting on God even when everyone around him pushed him to the wall.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, fill me to the fullest until I become deeply passionate about your presence.Passionate enough to stay firm during storms.
