John 21v15
15 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.”17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
The fact that Jesus loves you, does not mean that He can trust you easily, or give you responsibilities ! Jesus loved John so much but he instead gave the keys to Peter !
John was a good personne but he lacked stamina, he had no zeal, no fire. Jesus needed a man of fire. He needed a man of fire to lead His people. God in Heaven also looks to see whether you have the necessary criteria for certain posts. Is your zeal the greatest? Peter was always ready to fight for Jesus, Jesus could see his zeal. Jesus is looking for people who can stand steal. Wake up, and start showing a greater zeal. Always try to be the best in all what you do, God will surely give you the keys as for Peter. Always have the determination to have the keys! even in your family. The Lord is looking of soldiers who can stand firm for His name.
Prayer
Father as I take the engagement to defend your name wherever I go, and show a greater zeal, fill me with your strength and Spirit of Loyalty. Amen.
