Ecclesiastes 1:2 “Everything is meaningless,” says the Teacher, “completely meaningless!” Smoke, nothing but smoke. [That’s what the Quester says.] There’s nothing to anything – it’s all smoke.
Everything is vanity, everything is meaningless ! We will die and leave this world. We will leave everything here, and carry nothing along. Even the richest men on earth, will leave their wealth. Why then should we turn our hearts completely to things of this world, until falling into depression ?!
The role of the devil is to make us turn our hearts away from God, and focus on the challenges of this world. We are running after our jobs, after our school, searching for food and so on. It is true that it is very essential to make sure that everything is fine, but today I am coming with a new message for you.
Do not worry about the things of this world, at a point that you fall sick, divert your eyes from there and focus on God, He will surely carry your burdens, and you won’t be exposed to illnesses like heart attack. The Lord can help you ! Just trust Him.
Prayer
Lord, as from today I want to accept that everything is vanity. Untie my heart from the worries of this world, and teach me how to trust You. Take my heavy yoke and give me your rest and joy.
