This command is something that will guide you through your Christian experience.
It will permit you to guard your heart as the Bible recommends so that we don’t mix with foreign nations and get perverted.
For if we mix, we will be just like the Israelites who afterward used to get confused and corrupted in their service to God for they had gone and prostituted themselves with Baal and other useless deities.
This corruption caused them so many plagues coupled with the fact that at some point the Lord departed from them.
They had to repent from that before God came to rescue them again.
Imagine they didn’t compromise! Things would have been much better and a lot of spiritual problems that still plague this planet to date would have never been.
Seeing and analyzing all these, we can admit that being separated from the world is a big and important weapon.
Prayer:
Father, may I forever remain in Your premises so I never have to face Your wrath and get confused in life. Guide me please for it is only in You that I can affirm that I will never compromise. Amen!
