Waiting on God can be difficult at times, especially if we have the wrong attitude and mindset. Instead of being negative and impatient, we can actively put our hope and faith to work, knowing that God is in control. Our thoughts and attitudes can keep us joyful while we are in Godโs waiting room.
Here are some examples of right thoughts:
Iโm so excited to see what God is going to do.๐คฉ
I believe God is working, even though I donโt see a change yet.๐
God loves me, and I know He will take care of my problem.๐ฅฐ
Psalm 139 says that God is thinking about me all the time, so I know He has not forgotten me.๐
I will not live in fear, and I will never give up.๐ซก๐
These are thoughts that can produce joy, even as we practice patience. If we think with the mind of the Spirit while we are waiting on God, rest and peace will be the natural by-product.
Prayer of the Day:
Lord, help me wait with joyful expectation. I trust that Youโre working, even when I canโt see it. Fill me with peace and patience as I rest in Your perfect timing.
Amen ๐ฉท ๐๐ฝ
