Text : marc 4:26-29
Three steps
Seed: the content is Jesus
- The seed is the message we preach. The content of our message to unbelievers should be Jesus and only Him. According to john 3:16
Soil: the messenger
- The messenger is a key element in evangelism because his/her life should testify that he has submitted his life to Christ. Our lives as messengers of Christ should be a testimony.
Sickle: the community (an association of children of God, disciples)
- When we have preached the gospel and that one has accepted Christ, it’s crucial that the newly born again has a Christian community or a group of other disciples to keep his flame burning for God.
ACTS
Access: having a network of relationships
Care: take care of the physical , mental , spiritual aspect. Be there for them in good and bad times.
Trust : no one opens up to someone they don’t trust so as a disciple maker you need to be trustworthy.
Share: share with others because it was the characteristic of the disciples.
Prayer:
Lord please help me be a disciple and make other disciples.
