Psalm 119:103-105 How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
The word of God is a real treasure. As the sword that it is, there is a job that it does so well when you have learned to make it your daily bread. That job is simply helping you to test all spirits including yourself.
We all need to keep it so dearly in our hearts so that the mindset of Christ it has created in us does not get choked up by our pride.
The word of God is indeed living and has the capacity to change hearts for it is animated by the Holy Spirit.
We need to study the Psalms of David and really learn from his decision to stay in the hands of the Lord no matter how imperfect he could be. God will not despise that sacrifice of yours!
Prayer:
Lord help us keep your commandments. For you say in the Bible that He who loves You will keep your commands. Amen!
