Joshua 24v15 “ But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD”
Here we have the story of Joshua who was a very brilliant soldier of the Lord and he lead the People of God to the Land of Promise, after Moses. After leading the people of God, he went through so many things. He remembered how the LORD had always saved them in their battles and how He had always given them victory. How He walked before them and made their name great. Then, after all what he had seen from God, he told the People he lead, that they have the choice to follow any God they like, but he, and his home shall serve the LORD.
The best engagement you can ever take, is to serve the LORD with all your heart, why not with all your household?, why not dedicate to God, everything that lives in your house and belong to you? Why don’t you stand up and say you shall serve the LORD with your entire family, and take the engagement to bring them to God until they come? Joshua was a perfect leader. He did not decide to serve the Lord alone, but with his entire household.
Prayer: Lord, give me the strength and courage, to talk about you to my entire family, and persevere until they accept you as their Lord and Saviour.
