Philippians 4:8 For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].

We shouldn’t only be focused on growing our innermost being. Also, we have to work on our relationships with everyone and everything. Courtesy should be part of our daily behaviors.

We should be gentle in our ways, speaking wisdom and peace into every situation of life. Everything that comes out from our mouth must be well treated before spilling it out. Our Christ-like life ought to be edifying to other Christians as well as unbelievers. By our behaviors, we should be able to preach. That is, let our way of acting also be used as a preaching tool. In these last days, we’re advised to preach even when it is not yet time.
