2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).
The reason why we are conditioned to follow our selfish emotions by the elite is that He knows that if we follow ourselves, we will not follow the Holy Spirit.
His plan for us is that we become so full of ourselves that we no longer turn to God for anything.
This thinking pattern is therefore a prison and a poison at the same time because true freedom is not attainable by following our emotions but everywhere the Spirit of God is.
That liberty consists mostly of knowing who we are in Christ. Knowing that we, therefore, are free from the chains of iniquity and thereby redeemed by our God. This nowadays mindset of being focused on emotions is bringing the earth to its own destruction.Â
Prayer:
The Bible says that we will know the truth and it will set us free indeed. Father, I come close to you leaving behind my selfishness so you teach me what I ought to know as a child of God. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray amen.Â
