🌹 December 18, 2024.

Judges 16:19 “And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.”

This is what the Lord says “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord. Here we have the story of Samson, to whom God gave much strength and the secret of his strength was his hair. He then got a woman who was sent by her people, to cut off his hair and take away all his strength. The woman convinced Samson with sweet words and he was seduced. When he slept, she cut off his hair and he was no longer strong💇🏽‍♀️

Sometimes Christians are too naïve to open their hearts to people that they should not ! Before, exposing your projects or weakness, ask God whether or not you are in front of the right person, because you can only hear his ‘ I propose I won’t betray you’ but God reads through his mind.

Ask God to surround you with people who want your progress and not your failure. Ask Him for destiny helpers who are there to bless you and help you grow ! For, there are still genuine people on earth, just that they are rare, and you have to pay a price before getting them. Then pray for it ! Some destiny helpers are beside you, but you are unable to identify that this quiet person is there to bless me, Pray and ask God to increase your understanding.

God later restored Samson’s life, but he had certainly lost many things. Do not wait to fall before God restored you, start being careful when you are still up, and wait on God ONLY.

Lord I am grateful for this wonderful teaching. I am sorry for all the times I opened my mind to other people instead of trusting in You. As from today, open my eyes and show me those who are with me and those who are against me, and give me the capacity to wait on You only. In Jesus’ name. Amen.  💓
