Marc 1v35 “ And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed.”
Hey ! Let us rapidly go through this. Why is it important to pray every morning? The first reason is that, it permits God to have the First Place. He is called Alpha and Omega because He is the beginning and the end. God loves you and wants to be your priority everyday. You cannot say he is you priority if you do not give him a valuable time. Secondly, praying in the morning is a sign of gratefulness. You know, many people die in their sleep and never wake up. When you have the grace to open your eyes it is an opportunity for you to thank Him because you do not merit, it is a gift. The third reason to pray is that, as our introductory verse says, even Jesus followed this discipline and we are His followers.
It is also necessary to pray in the morning because it permits you to express you personal needs to the Lord permanently ( philppians 4v6) and you have the time to pray for others. Next time we will see the remaining advantages of praying in the morning.
Prayer: Please Holy Spirit, remind me always, to pray before starting my day, to give God the first place and give him my burdens.
