October 3, 2024 

Theme: a disciple equipped by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Verse of the day: Acts 16:16-18

Sub-theme: the prerequisites for a disciple on a mission for Christ.

Wickedness and worldliness are at the top of the world right now, and the world needs the church – in other words, you and me.

As a true disciple, we need to have stories to tell or experiences.

A true disciple must have marks of Christ in him. The church must get up and go out to preach in order to write its story with God. We must not wait for opportunities to preach, but we must seize and create opportunities, starting where we are.

If we go on mission for the Lord, we must :

1- you must begin to be constant in God’s presence (prayer, meditation…) . We must not play with our life of consecration and prayer, because prayer equips us and enables us to sanctify ourselves more.

2- You must operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Indeed, a disciple must operate in at least one spiritual gift. There’s one gift we neglect, but it’s very important, and every Christian must possess it (the gift of discernment). 

We must be very sensitive in order to discern who is in front and by what spirit he is animated.

3- we must demonstrate the love that is a fruit of the Spirit. It’s important to know that the gifts of the Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit work together.  We need to show love to those around us. Indeed, now is not the time to talk, but the time to act.

Prayer: Lord please help me evangelize and be on mission for you.
