We have Lost Old Anointing ! The Bible here tells us the story of Rehoboam. This man was God fearing at first. He had a good behavior and served God. The Bible reveals us that, just when the Lord blessed him, he turned his heart away from the Lord and did so many evil things. He didn’t only turn away from God, but he lead all the Israelites into his sin.
The reason why God sometimes feels reluctant to bless us is that, most of us will turn away from Him when the blessing comes. We are becoming unfaithful and fake, that’s why the Lord finds it difficult to use His people. How many will continue serving God wholeheartedly if they become billionaire? How many will stay engaged in church activities? Then are we real Christians?
The Bible says that, God got angry against Rehoboam, then Shishak found the opportunity to enter and steal the things of the Lord. This is the same way that the devil uses to have access to what belongs to us. The Presence of the Lord had left him, he was empty and blank ! You can buy anointing, but nothing is worth more the Presence of the Lord ! The Presence of the Lord increases in your life according to the state of your heart. The Bible says that David was a man just according to God’s heart. He could worship 🎷🎶and the demon disturbing Saul could go away.
The problem is not that God is weak, but His people have turned their minds against Him.
It is the time for us to turn our hearts towards God, and look for the Old anointing of our fathers, for His Presence, for Him to heal us.
Prayer
Heavenly father, I thank you for all the love you have for me. I know I turned my heart away from You, but today I want to come back, I want to have a heart of worship. Touch my heart and change me father.
