Luke 13:14 But the leader of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the crowd, There are six days on which work ought to be done; so come on those days and be cured, and not on the Sabbath day.

Yes, Christ did not come to abolish the law but to accomplish it. This is where we see that over-religiousness is a poison because it does not seek to do the will of God but to foolishly memorize the commands without the understanding the Spirit gives just like the leader of the synagogue.

Therefore to anyone without the Spirit of God in this exercise of faith, he or she shall never know the fullness of our purpose in Christ.

He or she will always be lagging behind in memorizing scriptures and never have an encounter with His Spirit. This is too bad for bankruptcy in the knowledge of God is always fatal. Also, people like the leader of the synagogue are always full of pride and therefore cannot give way to the training of the Spirit. Seek to walk with God and therefore, He will teach you how He wants to be worshipped.

Prayer:

Lord, I beg You, don’t permit me to be full of pride and not be willing to learn from Your anointed and Your Word. Amen.

Your sister, Sylviane NGA.
