In this verse, what touches me is the truthfulness of Paul. Paul is honest enough to admit that the presence of his brother makes him feel comforted, because of their mutual faith.
I wish to insist on the fact that the devil’s will is to bring in us. The mentality of “I have my own problems” in French we usually say “A chacun ses problemes”. This mentality of self-centeredness is to maintain us focused on ourselves and forget about others. The initial purpose of the church was togetherness and brothers.
This will even reduce the mortality rate, depression, and so on. Let us be as together as Muslims. Even, when they have a business, they take their brothers. That is what makes them the most powerful.
