Yes, this is the advantage that we have in Christ. We have the privilege of being new creatures living behind us in our ancient wayward life.
His blood wipes away all sins and this gives us the opportunity to be righteous in the face of God.
Believers, we need to understand that the blood of Jesus is the tool with which we were redeemed.
Being born again and having passed through proper deliverance, our past has no effect on us and God remembers none of our sins. If at the sight of God, we are righteous, why will you, therefore, allow people to bring you back to what you aren’t anymore? If people are the reason you are unable to enjoy your redemption, cut them off. The Lord will bring in people who make your faith grow for « iron sharpens iron » says the Bible.
