1 Kings 19:7 The angel of the Lord came the second time and touched him and said, Arise and eat, for the journey is too great for you.
In certain situations of our lives, especially for those in the process of their destiny’s actualization, we are tempted to give up. We lay low like Elijah and expect to find peace in death. As a matter of fact, we even pray for death.
But let the truth be told, if we haven’t yet arrived where the Lord wants us, He will give us the force to behold and then keep being alive.
This is why most of us are always given a lot of force to push through the journey till we arrive there. A practical example of such a situation is a race, like those races at Olympic Games and other competitions. When a runner falls, he is immediately given water, takes his breath and few minutes or seconds, we see him moving again.
So this is how the Lord functions in these kairos moments of our lives. This is why you need to trust in Him and not lean on your own understanding.
Prayer:
God, in this my life, I really don’t know where you are taking me too. But I trust you anyways. I therefore forget the fleshy attitude of always having the notion of time. You are my clock Lord. We will go at your own pace and time. Amen.
Your sister, Sylviane NGA.
