The pursuit of profit, ambition, and pleasure act on us like sleeping pills.
To wake us up, God can allow storms in our lives. Instead of hearing His voice that often speaks to us, we prefer to intensify distractions so as to avoid those warnings.
Just like vigilant parents will do to a child that that doesn’t want to come on the right track ;
God disciplines us.
God makes us understand His will and have a tighter relationship with Him through the storms.
Are we ready to Listen to God?Â
