Romans 1v16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
It is shocking to see that, we are the ones having the word and the Truth but we are also the ones ashamed of it ! Pagans are more proud of being in the darkness than us, being in the light 😂 This sounds so ironical !
Let us fight to remove this image that to be a Christian, you must be poor, quiet, wearing old fashioned clothes ! You yes you, have the possibility to change things ! Let people want to follow your God because they appreciate the way you’re always updated and look modern ! It’s not shameful to serve God, instead we’re few to have this privilege.
Since you are born of God and accepted Christ in your life, who did you bring to Christ? Which person accepted Christ through you? How many people’s lives changed because of you?
Do not be ashamed of being a Christian, because it is a pride. If you deny Jesus in front of men, He’ll deny you in front of His Father on that very day. You are the light of the world, then start revealing this light so that it may enlighten those around you. Be it family or friends. Let people know you are born again, and pray for your family members so that they should also be enlightened. I am proud of serving Jesus !
Prayer:
Lord I refuse every form of fear or shame in my heart for, I have not received a spirit of fear but a spirit of courage. Lord today show me somebody with whom I’ll share your love.
