Psalm 34:9 O fear the Lord, you, His saints [revere and worship Him]! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear.
Truly God is faithful!
A man like Job never lacked anything in his life. He enjoyed the reward God-fearing humans have. This even got to the attention of the accuser (devil) and he dared to tell God that His servant would curse Him if all of these rewards were taken away from him. The Lord permitted the accuser to touch Job at every level of his small life. Despite all the calamities Job went through, he never cursed the name of Yahweh and remained God-fearing. Job didn’t even listen to his wife and friends, he knew who his God was and didn’t give into bitterness to the greatest dismay of the enemy!
After these series of tests, Job was judged faithful and worthy of the blessings of our God and was restored with much more than what he lost.
Brethren, tackle every situation of your life with Godly fear. When situations overwhelm you, talk to God in private, do not seek solutions elsewhere, and most importantly; rest for you are in the hands of a capable God. He Is great and His mercies endure forever and ever Amen !!
