Nehemiah 13:26 Did not Solomon king of Israel act treacherously against God and miss the mark on account of such women? Among many nations, there was no king like him. He was loved by his God, and God made him king over all Israel; yet strange women even caused him to sin [when he was old he turned treacherously away from the Lord to other gods, and God rent his kingdom from him].
First of all, Choose your partner well and always stick to the commands of God. It will help you avoid trouble.
Salomon the great wise man was someone in whom the Lord was pleased. But because of his love for women, he ended up messing things up as those women led him to worship their gods which was contrary to what God commanded Israel to do.
Analyzing things well, we see how far disobedience can take us too. In life, when God gives you a command, follow before understanding because it is in that obedience that resides in your protection.
God is all-knowing and whenever He says something, He has vetted everything already and has seen what is to come.
Prayer :
Father, humanly, it is impossible for me to stick to your will by myself. Empower me with your grace and always remind me of the benefits of obedience to you. Amen.
